North Brisbane newborn photographer Bee Cherished Photography recently photographed little baby Theodore. 7 days old and so tiny and squishy! Adorable and extremely curly it’s easy to imagine how he was curled up in his Mummy’s tummy. Theodore was in a hurry to make his entrance arriving early. One of my favourite things about newborn photography is enjoying seeing new parents and their love for their new baby. Usually Dad’s will be a little reserved showing their affection in public, not this 1st time Daddy! I wasn’t sure who made me smile the most, little Theodore or watching his Dad become so excited. I’m not kidding every single pose or slight adjustment, all I could hear coming from behind me was .. OOO …. Awww .. Look at him! It was an absolute privilege to photograph this families first newborn baby. Baby Theodore is so very much loved and is very lucky.
5-10 days old is the best time to photograph your newborn
At 7 days old baby Theodore is the perfect age for newborn photography. I adore how curly this age is and they are usually still very sleepy and most comfortable in those curly newborn poses. I photograph babies of all ages I understand some new parents may not consider newborn photography until their gorgeous little bundle has arrived. If this is you please ring to check for availability. I will always try to schedule you in whenever possible. Newborns have their own agenda and will arrive a touch early or sometimes a tad late and rarely on their expected due date. For this reason I only book a maximum of 3 newborns a week, ensuring I will always be available to photograph your baby between 5 to 10 days old.
When should I book newborn photography?
It makes perfect sense to plan ahead to book your newborn photography session. I recommend booking during pregnancy to ensure availability. Most people will book after they’ve had their 20 week scan. Once a deposit is paid I will add your due date to the calendar. I ask you to add Bee Cherished to list of people you notify when bub has arrived. I will then email you with “What to expect during your newborn photography” and offer you dates available for your newborn portrait session.
