Grassy Outdoor Photo Shoot

This is the ideal location for a private photo shoot .. I had the pleasure of photographing Brooke on a perfect winters day with soft, fluffy, pink grass rustling in the breeze. It was picture perfect! I love it when people are happy to trust my advice on clothing and colour suggestions. On this occasion we were inspired by the wintery grass and soft muted colour tones. Brooke wore a pretty white dress, a gorgeous flower crown and held a pink shear scarf in her hands to catch the sunlight.

I adore every photo from this portrait session and I couldn’t pick a favourite. My favourite colour is pink and I think the grass enhanced the pastel colours for this feminine, pretty flower crown.

This grassy outdoor location also has railway tracks, graffiti and a dirt path to vary photo shoots and I find the grass changes in appearance every shoot depending on the year. Winter is the perfect time to capture these soft pastel muted colours and gorgeous for a family with teenagers … it offers something special for the boys and the girls and it’s very private … no audience to make you feel awkward so your portraits will feel and look natural and reflect your true personality.
